Terry Chisolm, Ph.D.
Theresa (Terry) Hnath Chisolm, Ph.D. is Professor and Chair in the Department of Communication Sciences & Disorders at the University of South Florida. She is a licensed and certified Clinical Audiologist whose teaching and research career has focused on audiological interventions for both adults and children. Her recent research focuses on issues related to treatment efficacy, including hearing aid intervention and post-hearing aid fitting intervention strategies. She is also known for her work in evidence-based practice as it relates to audiology intervention. In 2011 Dr. Chisolm received the Distinguished Achievement Award from the American Academy of Audiology; she has been a faculty member for the Ida Institute and has served on various committees for the Academy, ASHA, Academy of Rehabilitative Audiology, and the Florida Speech and Hearing Association.
